Casa P

Roma/

/This 1930s "villino" type of building, located along viale Trastevere at the bottom of Monteverde hill, presents some peculiar aspects such as the high ceilings and terrazzo floor tiles, that drove the design strategy from the start; So the idea was to keep everything as abstractas possible on walls and ceilings, giving these elements a matte surface, in contrast with the highly polished floor finish. Everything almost seems floating on these tiles, most furniture hangs from the wall giving a sense of integrity and flexibility. Ceiling height (3,55m) is pointed by hanging cables and lights bulbs that give it certain visual grammar.
